Darren Flagg scored eight of his 21 points in overtime of the Hornets’ (2-1) victory over the Patriots (2-1) in Turner.

All three of Leavitt’s games this season have gone to overtime. Brody Poland (three) and Flagg (one) combined to hit four consecutive 3-pointers to force overtime, then Flagg opened the extra period with two more treys. The Hornets iced the win by making 7 of 8 free throws down the stretch.

Flagg finished with five 3-pointers. Poland made four 3s and scored 17 points. Colin Scholbohm contributed 13 points, 13 rebounds, eight assists, five steals and three blocks, while Jacob Gibbs (two 3s) added 10 points, 11 rebounds, five assists and three blocks.

Carter Davis hit four treys and led Gray-New Gloucester with 17 points. Isaiah Portas scored 15 points and Quentin Warrick had 13.
