Patrick Murphy singled twice and drove in three runs to help Hall-Dale take down Mountain Valley 7-3 in an MVC baseball contest Wednesday in Rumford.
Carson Mattice drove in two runs, while Greyson Cary notched a game-best three hits, including a double, and scored twice for the Bulldogs (6-7). Starting pitcher Collin McArthur stuck out seven batters in six innings.
Sawyer Durant, Josh Pollis and Braydan Hughes had two hits apiece for the Falcons (5-8). Pollis and Kegan Jordan each smacked a double and drove in a run. Zach McLean fanned seven batters in 6 2/3 innings of relief.
