Goals by a pair of freshmen boosted the Cougars (2-3) to a victory over the Blue Devils (1-4) in Farmington.
Avery Simpson opened the scoring with an unassisted first-half goal, then Jocelyn Greenleaf scored in the second half off an assist by Molly Hambrick.
Chloe Croteau netted Lewiston’s goal. Scarlett Perry recorded the assist.
Blue Devils goalie Emily Desrosiers made 13 saves, and Ava Davis stopped two shots for Mt. Blue.
