The Dragons (5-2) exploded for five goals in the second period on their way to a victory over the Blue Devils (0-7) at Sid Watson Arena in Brunswick.

Solveig Ledwick recorded a hat trick for Brunswick. Delia Vital scored twice and notched three assists, while Natalie Perham scored once and finished with five assists, and Gillian Countway added a goal and three assists. Quinn McCormack and Citlali Saavedra Estrada also scored in the win.

Emma Berube’s two goals led the Lewiston co-op. Lexus Keene contributed a goal and an assist, and Crew Langley potted a goal.

Brunswick goalie Hensleigh Labonte stopped 13 shots, and Lewiston’s Kaydance Jolin recorded 24 saves.
