The Bulldogs (6-0) survived a physical contest with the Cougars (1-5) to earn a victory in Dixfield.
Alison Griffeth led Madison with a game-high 16 points, which included 8-of-14 shooting at the free-throw line. Raegan Cowen added eight points.
Sophie Nino-Agguire led a balance Dirigo offense with seven points, while Aleiah Ward and Abby Luczynksi scored six apiece and Keira Reny had five points. Lana Waite pulled down 12 rebounds for the Cougars.
