Levi Laverdiere scored all of his 19 points in the middle two quarters as the Mustangs (11-5) pulled away from the Rebels (6-12) in Bethel.
Laverdiere sank three 3-pointers in the second quarter as Monmouth outscored Telstar 25-16 to take a 36-27 halftime lead. He added two more 3s in the third, helping the Mustangs stretch their advantage to 58-39.
Gavin Parsons chipped in with 15 points and Tyler Day scored 14.
Jonathan Marshall led Telstar with 17 points. Connor Deprey made four 3-pointers and finished with 15 points.
