Abby Luczynski made five 3-points and scored 21 points to lead the Cougars (9-9) past the Falcons (5-13) in Dixfield.
Dirigo will enter the Class C South tournament as the No. 7 seed and will host a preliminary-round game against No. 10 Traip Academy.
Chloe Brown and Maddy Brown both scored seven points for Mountain Valley.
