Freshman Bryn Gilmore drove the lane and scored the winning basket with eight seconds remaining in overtime to lift the Patriots (9-0) over the Eagles (7-1) in a battle of unbeaten teams in Gray.

Gilmore also hit a 3-pointer at the second-quarter buzzer to give Gray-New Gloucester a 26-23 halftime lead. She finished with 22 points. Ella Kenney added 11 for the Patriots, who are ranked seventh in the Varsity Maine poll.

Jenna Jensen led Mt. Ararat, which is No. 2 in the Varsity Maine poll, with 13 points. Kayleigh Wagg scored 10.
