Grace Allen and Morgan Hersey scored third-quarter goals to break a scoreless stalemate at halftime as the Cougars (9-5) vaulted the Vikings (3-9-1) in Farmington.

Lily Huntley assisted on Allen’s goal and Mikayla Wilcox set up Hersey’s tally.

Spanish exchange student Elsa Perez made one save in the first half of her first varsity start for Mt. Blue after learning the sport in September. Freshman Gwen Lesperance made one save of her own in the second half.

Gabby Wright stopped 11 shots for Oxford Hills.
