Ventimiglia, a sophomore, scored on the play shortly after a Messalonskee timeout. Chloe Michaud was credited with an assist. Alexa Caccamo also had a goal for the Eagles.

Lucia Siren had the lone goal for Skowhegan. It’s the first loss for the River Hawks since dropping a 4-1 contest to Cheverus in the 2021 Class A title game at Cony High School in Augusta.
