The Rebels (3-5) had a couple chances to win but their shots didn’t drop and they fell to the Seahawks (3-9) in Boothbay Harbor.
“(Reiley) Hedden had two clean looks from 3 in the last 20 seconds that didn’t go down,” Telstar/Gould coach Ryan Kimball said. “Tough, hard-fought game between two teams desperate for a win.”
Boothbay’s Finn Harker scored a game-high 26 points, including all seven of the Seahawks’ fourth-quarter points. Harker drained four 3-pointers. Luke Morley contributed nine points to the victory.
Wyatt Lilly made three 3s and led the Rebels with 13 points. Brody Morgan finished with seven and Hedden had five. Eight players scored for Telstar.
