Sanford 55, Windham 52

Annalise Stimmell broke a 46-46 tie with a three-point play and Sanford held on for a 55-52 win over Windham in a Class A South girls basketball game Tuesday night in Sanford.

Sanford, ranked fourth in the Varsity Maine Top 10, made 13 of 14 free throws, including 5 of 6 in the fourth quarter.

Mollie Puffer led the Spartans with 19 points, aided by four 3-pointers. Paige Sevigny added 15 points and Jaslinn Johnson had 13.

Marley Jarvais and Mackenzie Delewski each scored 16 points for Windham, ranked eighth in the Varsity Maine poll. Denali Momot chipped in with 13 points.
