Silas Nielsen scored five of his 24 points in overtime as the Hawks (3-0) survived a big second-half comeback by the Rebels (0-3) in Hiram.
Nielsen also grabbed 14 rebounds, but Sacopee needed overtime to pull out the win after Telstar erased a 29-13 halftime deficit.
The Hawks were 4 for 4 from the field in overtime.
Telstar’s Connor Deprey scored 20 of his 24 points after halftime. Alex Doughty added 11 points.
