Brady Philbrick hit six 3-pointers, including four in the first quarter, and scored a game-high 22 points to lead the Cougars (5-3) past the Rebels (2-6) in Bethel.
Philbrick’s 12 first-quarter points helped Dirigo take a 26-17 lead into the second period.
Liam Malchisky added 17 points and Owen Smith scored 15 for the Cougars.
Three Telstar players scored in double figures. Connor Deprey led the way with 21 points, Alex Doughty scored 16 and Jonathan Marshall finished with 10.
