Lauren Burnham singled, tripled and drove in four runs as the Mustangs (2-0) cruised to a five-inning victory over the Roadrunners (0-2) in Monmouth.
Lillian Palleschi singled twice for the Mustangs.
Mt. Abram scored both of its runs in the top of the fifth, but Monmouth plated three in the bottom half of the inning to put the mercy rule in effect.
