Addison DeRoche struck out all 12 batters she faced, and Cheverus scored eight runs in the fourth inning to close out a 15-0 mercy-rule win over Biddeford in a Class A South softball Wednesday in Portland.
It was the second mercy-rule no-hitter already this season for DeRoche, a junior who has committed to attend Florida State.
Kyle Lamson led the offense with a double, a triple and three RBI. Cameron Gagnon, Anna Kennedy-Jensen and Sadie Collins all had two hits and two RBI.
