Freshman Julia Paradis homered and drove in three runs, while her sister Phoebe had two triples and also drove in three runs to lead the Knights past the Lakers in a season opener in Poland.
Karlee Lothrop also drove in three runs on two hits and pitched a complete game (six strikeouts) for Poland.
Ella Gibbons and Addelyn Wilson each had three hits and drove in three runs for Lake Region.
