Bangor Christian snapped Valley’s 30-game winning streak by prevailing in a tightly contested battle of unbeaten girls basketball teams in Bingham.
Mary Allen scored 36 points for Bangor Christian (9-0), which made 24 of its 33 free-throw attempts. Reese Starbird added 20 points.
Valley (8-1), which lost for the first time since falling to Southern Aroostook in the 2024 Class D final, got 16 points from Liana Hartwell, 15 from Kirsten Bigelow and 14 from Delia Hill.
