Bryce Lausier scored 23 points, including 17 in the second half, as the top-seeded Broncos (18-1) edged the eighth-seeded Cougars (8-11) in a Class A North quarterfinal at the Augusta Civic Center.
Braydon Cole added 17 points and Michael Raye had 12 for the Broncos, who recovered from a 28-20 halftime deficit. Lausier and Raye each made three 3-pointers.
Hunter Meeks led Mt. Blue with 17 points, followed by Camden Philips with 11 and Jacob Farnham with 10. Meeks had nine points during a 20-8 run in the second quarter.
