Maci Beals scored 14 of her 26 points in the fourth quarter as the sixth-seeded Panthers (18-4) held off the top-seeded Minutemen (18-3) in the Class C North final in Bangor.
Libby Grass contributed 13 points, including four 3-pointers, and Breann Bradbury added 12 for Central Aroostook, which is headed to its first state championship game since 1993.
Katherine Alley paced Stearns with 21 points. Katie Kenyon scored 13.
