The top-seeded Rams (17-1) scored two runs in the sixth inning to earn a spot in the Class A South final with a win over the fourth-seeded Trojans (13-5) in Gorham.
Izak Stevens and Preston Brown both scored in the sixth for Gorham, which will face No. 10 Noble (10-8-1) on Tuesday at the University of Southern Maine in Gorham.
Hunter Finck hit an RBI single and scored on a sacrifice fly by Miles Brenner in the fourth inning to give Gorham a 2-1 lead.
Thornton went up 1-0 in the first on an RBI double by Brennan Tabor, who added an RBI single in the top of the seventh. He also had a triple. Parker Bjorklund hit an RBI single in the sixth to tie it at 2-2.
