GIRLS' SOCCER

POLAND AT TRAIP ACADEMY

September 3, 2026

After a high-scoring first half, the Rangers and the Knights played to a season-opening draw in Kittery.

Traip’s Jacqueline Diallo scored twice in the first 15 minutes, but Poland responded with three straight goals to take a 3-2 lead. First, the Paradis sisters, Phoebe and then Julia, netted a pair of goals within a minute of each other to even the score, then Payton Rose set up Alivia Lemieux for a goal with 27 seconds left in the first half.

Kendall Carter scored the tying goal for the Rangers with about 10 minutes left in the game.

Both goalies, Traip’s Rose Dembele and Poland’s Payton Blake, made saves on penalty kicks. Dembele finished with 13 saves and Blake had 10.
