Luke Piper rushed for four touchdown and passed for another, leading the Rangers (2-1) past the Warriors (2-1) in Wells.

Piper opened the scoring on Greely’s first play from scrimmage after the Rangers stopped Wells on downs. The senior quarterback raced 62 yards for the only points in the first quarter.

Wells running back Quinn Finemore sandwiched two second-quarter touchdown runs around Piper’s second TD. Finemore first scored on a 5-yard run, and after Greely regained the lead on a Piper 7-yard run, Finemore went 12 yards off right tackle on a counter play to make it 14-12 at halftime.

Piper put the Rangers back in front with a 39-yard run in the third quarter. In the fourth, he threw a 12-yard TD pass to Jackson Justice, then raced 91 yards for a final score on the first play after Justice stopped a Wells drive with an interception.
