Behind 26 points from Trevor Brown and 19 from Patrick McKenney, the fourth-seeded Panthers (16-4) defeated the Greyhounds (15-4), in a Class B South quarterfinal at the Portland Expo.

Medomak Valley advances to a semifinal at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday at the Expo against No. 9 Maranacook or No. 1 Spruce Mountain.

Medomak Valley used its superior quickness and strength to gain control early, racing to an 18-5 lead after a quarter. Lisbon got no closer than 10 the rest of the way, with the lead peaking at 49-23 late in the third quarter.

Medomak had 15 steals, compared to four for Lisbon, and outrebounded the Greyhounds, 31-21.

Lisbon was led by Mason Booker with 20 points. Charlie Doyle and Caden Boone each scored 11.
