Maddie Fitzpatrick scored 22 of her 27 points in the first half as the second-seeded Stags (15-3) rolled out to a 40-17 halftime advantage and eliminated the seventh-seeded Bulldogs (4-15) in a Class AA North quarterfinal at Portland.
Lillian Singleton added 11 points for Cheverus, which will face No. 3 Hampden Academy in the semifinals Wednesday at Cross Insurance Arena.
Liz Yugu scored 21 points, with four 3-pointers, for Portland. Naulissa Tuza tossed in 10 points.
