Faith Sjoberg set a Class B North tournament record with eight 3-pointers and finished with 30 points as the fourth-seeded Wildcats (14-6) beat the fifth-seeded Vikings (8-12) in a Class B North quarterfinal at Bangor’s Cross Insurance Center.
Mt. View led 9-2 after one quarter and 13-2 early in the second, but Sjoberg fueled a 20-2 surge with five 3-pointers as the Wildcats pulled ahead 22-15 by halftime.
Hannah Coolen scored 15 points and Ari Bradeen added eight for Mt. View.
