Freshman standout Bailey Breen poured in 29 points as the second-seeded Mariners (17-0) rolled past the seventh-seeded Panthers (13-7) in a Class B South quarterfinal at the Portland Expo.
Oceanside opened with an 11-0 run, sparked by back-to-back 3-pointers from Emily Sykes. The Mariners led 15-4 after one quarter and 26-10 at halftime.
The 6-foot-3 Breen then scored 14 of her team’s 21 points in the third quarter as the lead grew to 47-24.
Breen also grabbed 11 rebounds. Abby Waterman had eight points and 15 rebounds.
Alyssa Creamer led Medomak with 10 points.
