Tanner Anctil and Cal Nice each had three hits, including a home run, and the fourth-seeded Flyers (14-3) beat the No. 5 Roadrunners (13-5) in a Class C South quarterfinal in Portland.

Waynflete/NYA will face No. 1 Sacopee Valley in the semifinals on Saturday.

Anctil also scored three runs, while Nice had four RBI and scored twice. Cole Lambert got the pitching victory. Cooper St. Hilaire pitched two innings of relief, and Daxton St. Hilaire earned the save.
