Liza Flower tallied four goals, Lydia Porter and Callie Bourgoin also scored, and the second-seeded Falcons (12-3) defeated the seventh-seeded Lakers (5-8-1) in a Class B South quarterfinal in Freeport.

Maddie Kryzak made four saves and Megan Ritz had two assists for Freeport, which next plays third-seeded Gray-New Gloucester/NYA.

Abigail Travis scored and Nicole Watson stopped 14 shots for Lake Region.
