Preston Tripp had two hits, including a double, drove in two runs and earned the pitching victory as the third-seeded Trojans (12-5) beat the No. 6 Warriors in a Class B North quarterfinal in Bar Harbor.
MDI advances to face No. 2 Cony at noon Saturday.
Cameron Graham added three hits and Collin Sullivan hit a triple for MDI.
Seth Bowden and Owen Menard each had a double and a single for Nokomis.
