Trot Moody and Mathew Charron combined on a three-hitter, and the third-seeded Seagulls (13-4) got past the sixth-seeded Cougars (8-9) in a Class C South quarterfinals in Old Orchard Beach.
The Seagulls will travel to face No. 2 Maranacook (15-2) in the regional semifinals on Saturday.
Moody started on the mound and struck out six batters in 2 2/3 innings, then Charron replaced him and recorded four strikeouts over 4 1/3 innings.
Moody also was 2-for-4 batting with a double and run, and Charron had a hit, a run and and RBI. Evan Moody drove in a team-high three runs.
Trevor Crosby, Ty LaPointe and Owen Smith had Dirigo’s hits.
