Guilerme Francisco Jose redirected a cross from the right corner by Augusto Daniel for the tiebreaking goal with 4:35 remaining as the Rams (2-3-1) defeated the Blue Blazes (2-2) in Westbrook.

Daniel opened the scoring about 10 minutes into the game when his 20-yard strike got past Westbrook keeper Jason McCarthy, who finished with six saves, including leaping stop on a hard strike in the first half.

Peter Sargent made it 2-0 on a 30-yard floater that sailed under the crossbar in the 17th minute.

Westbrook cut the lead with 12:18 left in the half when Paddy Walsh tapped in a headed pass from Hussam Ibrahim following a serve into the box by Justin Filatrault. The Blue Blazes tied it 35 seconds into the second half when Ithiel Mulumba finished a long serve over the back line by Walsh.

Jack Borland stopped four shots for the Rams.
