Colby Raymond rushed for three touchdowns, and the Minutemen (6-2) erupted for 40 points in the second quarter against the Hawks (4-4) in an eight-man Small School game in South Hiram.

Stearns quarterback Emerson Michaud added two scoring runs and a TD pass during the second-quarter surge.

Maxwell Tripp scored on a 9-yard run for Sacopee Valley in the first quarter. Despite the loss, the Hawks will go to the South playoffs, likely as the No. 3 seed.
