Dylan Root ran for three touchdowns as the Shipbuilders improved to 2-0 with a road win over the Cougars (1-1) in Dixfield.

Root also threw a 40-yard TD pass to Caden Wells, who finished with two catches for 60 yards and had 70 yards rushing. Junah Hays ran for 80 yards and a score on 24 carries.

Hays also made 10 tackles for the Shipbuilders, and Wells finished with 10.
