Estevao Lembissa scored three touchdowns, including an 81-yard screen pass, as the Tigers opened their season with a win against the Dragons in Biddeford.

Lembissa gave Biddeford a 6-0 lead when he reached the end zone on a 5-yard run late in the first quarter.

Tigers quarterback Ernie Dore connected with Lembissa for a 38-yard touchdown in the final minute of the second quarter. Stanley Richerson extended the lead in the third quarter with a 29-yard run, and Lembissa got his third TD on the final play of the third when he took a screen pass from Dore and raced the length of the field.

Dore was 12 of 15 passing for 264 yards, Lembissa caught four passes for 147 yards, and Richerson gained 101 yards on 10 carries.

Brunswick avoided a shutout when quarterback Jacob Austin scored on a 3-yard keeper with less than 3 minutes remaining.
