The Rams (3-1) saved five match points in the fourth set as they fought back to beat the Mustangs (3-1) in Portland, winning 25-20, 23-25, 15-25, 26-24, 15-12.

Nora Lauze won six consecutive points on serve as Deering overcame a 24-19 deficit in the fourth set.

The Rams were led by the all-around play of libero Eva Scipione and the net play of outside hitter Blake Gayle.
