Toby Oufiero passed for a touchdown in the first quarter and rushed for two in the second half, leading Oxford Hills to a 34-14 win over Windham in a Class A North season opener Friday night in Windham.

Oufiero opened the scoring with a 7-yard pass to Tucker Hilden in the first quarter.

Windham grabbed an 8-6 lead in the second quarter when Lucas Davenport connected with Tegan Perkins for a 29-yard touchdown, then hit Dominic Lopez for a 2-point conversion.

The Vikings, though, answered with a 2-yard TD run by Keegan Ridley and led 12-8 at halftime. Ridley added a 5-yard run early in the second half after Windham fumbled on its first play from scrimmage.

A 1-yard run by Perkins cut Windham’s deficit to 18-14, but Oufiero scored on runs of 8 and 5 yards and passed for the conversion both times as Oxford Hills pulled away.
