Zayn Foyt scored three goals to help the Mustangs improve to 2-0 with a win over the Warriors (0-3) in Monmouth.

Tyler Day added two goals for Monmouth, while Bryce Fletcher scored once and set up two goals. Noah Schultz, Tyson Bryant and Devon Sangermano each netted a goal. Max Robitaialle also had two assists.

Mustangs goalie Gavin Parsons stopped two shots, and Monmouth coach Joe Fletcher said Sangermano, Kalvin Lovering, Wade Givens and Jonah Schultz played strong defense.

Luke Laplante scored for Wells, while Aiden Baker made seven saves and earned praise from Joe Fletcher.
