A SOUTH QUARTERFINAL: #7-MARSHWOOD VS. #2-SCARBOROUGH

Delia Fravert tallied two goals, Maggie Booth had two assists, and the second-seeded Red Storm (12-1-2) scored three unanswered goals in the second half to win a Class A South quarterfinal against the seventh-seeded Hawks (9-6-1) in Scarborough.

Marshwood’s Lucy Parker scored the opening goal with about 12 minutes left in the first half. Scarborough’s Emma Flaker bodied in a cross from Booth with 7:36 remaining.

In the second half, Fravert took a pass from Booth and scored with a hard strike from 25 yards, then finished off a well-timed through ball by Grace Carlista.

Paige Garlock got the final goal.
