OXFORD HILLS AT WINDHAM

A defensive stop in the fourth quarter helped Oxford Hills secure a 14-0 victory over Windham in a Class A North football game Friday in Windham.
In the middle of the final quarter with Oxford Hills (4-4) up 7-0, a Landon Wyman 27-yard reverse pass to Mason Arbour set up Windham (2-6) at the Oxford Hills 9. The Vikings eventually stopped Windham on downs at the 2, however.
On the following play, Cameron Pulkkinen outran the Eagles’ defense for a 98-yard touchdown.
Dylan Truman scored on a 5-yard QB keeper in the first quarter.
The victory likely clinched a playoff berth for the Vikings, who are in a battle with Bangor and Deering for the No. 2 seed. Oxford Hills ends its regular season at home next Friday against Bangor.
Jack Stack notch an interception late in the third quarter while Keegan Ridley recorded a pick in the fourth quarter for Oxford Hills.
